There's something good about a defined departure. You suddenly have incentive to do a lot of things that you've been "planning" to do for a long time. We just got together today with Johnie's siblings (and a sibling-in-law) for lunch. A simple event but so worth the time we spent together. We'll miss getting to see them, even if we didn't get to see them all the time here.
