July 13

Our daughter sent us a book which I've started reading. It reminds me of Brother Neal A. Maxwell's writings where you could/should stop and think about the meaning and implications of each sentence. Related to Elder Oaks's roof-blowing Conference talk, "The Challenge to Be." So the "Child of God" line was first "Teach me all that I must know"; was changed to "all that I must do"; and now turns out should probably have been "all that I must be." And the whole crux of the matter is how we put that principle into practice.
